ETFs bought billions, so why is price soft? What to watch on a loan instead
Fund inflows are a headline, not a price you can act on. The LTV on a bitcoin-backed loan is a live number you can see.
What you can control
You cannot make the market match a headline. You can watch the loan you already have.
A bitcoin-backed loan is marked to a public price. Loan-to-value is the loan divided by what the bitcoin is worth right now. The liquidation price is where the lender would sell the collateral. The cushion is the room between here and there.
The liquidation calculator shows that same math with your numbers. The public mark is the idea behind why a bitcoin loan you can see beats a loan nobody marks. A jumpy Treasury market is a different headline. The MOVE index and your bitcoin loan says what that gauge measures, and what to watch on the loan. If you already have a loan, track this loan so live LTV sits on a card instead of a spreadsheet.
If the point of stacking is decades out, a soft month matters less than not getting liquidated. The bitcoin retirement calculator opens on its own defaults: $100,000 of annual spending in today's dollars, 7% inflation, age 35, retirement at 65, life expectancy 100, and the cautious price trend. Change them if they are not yours. It does not promise an outcome.
The honest risk
Leverage can still be liquidated in a fast drop, whether last week's ETF flow was in or out. Seeing LTV does not slow the market. BitStack is not a lender. This is not financial advice.
Frequently asked questions
Why can ETF inflows be large while bitcoin’s price is soft?
Flows are the net dollars moving into or out of US spot bitcoin ETFs. Price is the last trade on the open market. Other buyers and sellers exist, so the two can diverge for days or weeks. A flow headline is not a price you can act on.
What should I watch on a bitcoin-backed loan instead of fund flows?
Mark-to-market loan-to-value (LTV), the liquidation price, the margin-call price, and the cushion between here and there. Those numbers move with the public bitcoin price. BitStack is not a lender. This is not financial advice.
Do ETF inflows tell me where bitcoin goes next?
No. Nobody can tell you which way price goes next, and neither can we. This page is not a tip sheet and not a forecast.
Does BitStack make loans?
No. BitStack tracks holdings and Bitcoin-backed loans you already have, and the free calculators model the same math. BitStack is not a lender. This is not financial advice.
Is this page financial advice?
No. This page is education about fund-flow headlines versus a loan you can measure. It is not financial, tax, or legal advice, not a rate quote, and not an offer to lend.
